Satisfying your seafood craving @ Restaurant Robson Heights, Jalan Permai, KL

10:34

I have been craving for some nice, delicious and fresh seafood meal for some time already. Finally, get to satisfy my craving today..... Oh My Licious!!!! Now I have a new craving which is a nice cup of cold Cha-Time Pearl milk tea with less sugar...... Damn.... why can't I be contented with life..... ARGH!!

Restaurant Robson Heights
Went there for dinner just now.... Satisfying meal ^^

All I can say is that this restaurant interior is very simple and straight forward, not like the usual restaurant like Dragon-i or Canton-i.... You will know what i mean soon...

Simple, cozy and clean restaurant...air condition as well
The service staff consist of some Chinese ladies which can speak Cantonese and Mandarin fluently and some friendly Filipino or Indonesia workers.... very friendly.... No the usual "black face" shown...

Outdoor seating area.... With live fish and crabs swimming around
Good for smoking and enjoying the view....
Anyway, the restaurant is facing the road... so most probably, you will be seeing car stuck in jam, honking etc... Most importantly, air pollution causes by all the vehicles zooming past that place non stop....

Ice Honey Bee... ^^
Ice Honey Bee @ RM3.50...in Mandarin called "Ai Yu Bin"... thirst quenching and refreshing... Mixture of Lime and Honey... I am not really a sour drink person, but, this concoction is really nice and "surprising" in a way... a sip of this Honey Bee and you can taste the sweetness from the Honey mix with the tangy Lime juice... Nope that not all, there are small little bit of jelly cubes in it which add texture to the drink....

Pork Rib with Marmite-Honey Sauce....
Pork Rib with Marmite-Honey Sauce @ RM28.00.. I hate eating Pork Ribs in restaurant, the reason behind it is that, usually the meat is tough and it stick to the bone... It takes quite some time to separate the meat from the bone using fork and spoon, sometime the Pork Rib might just slip away from your plate (^.^)"" And sometime you might end up with thick brown sauce as your lipstick colour if you decide to eat it with your hand and mouth (double swt) ... But luckily, the meat is real tender and it separate really easily from the bone. Heap Heap Huraay!!!!!!

Usually if you order this dish, you might end up getting it either too "marmitey" which I am fine with it or too sweet.... but, as for this dish, the blend of both the Honey and Marmite are just nice... even balance.. Ying ang Yang... Sun and Moon....I am guessing they marinate it just nice with the ingredients, therefore, the meat itself also have a strong flavor of the sauce.... Thinking of this dish make me drool again....

Curry Mix Vegetable with Seafoods
Curry Mix Vegetable with Seafoods @ RM30.00.... Big clay pot of hot bubbly "Kali Chap Choy"... From the look of the curry sauce it might look like some thick Indian Curry.. strong flavour of Indian herb... but, you are wrong... the curry is not Indian Curry type... but it is not my type of curry... too strong curry powder taste for me...

But, mixing it with rice and veges, the curry taste somehow magically mellow down... It become the right combination for you to start nomming down bowls and bowls of steaming hot Jasmine rice.... Good blend of Cabbages, Long Beans, brinjals, Sotongs, Lalas etc... We order for 4 person though, ended up cant even finish.... so my advise is, always lower down the number... instead of ordering for 4 persons why not order for 3 or 2 person and try out other dishes??? I love the prawn though.. very fresh and can easily peel it off the shell...

Glass Noodle with Fresh Water Prawn
Glass Noodle with Fresh Water Prawn @ RM84.00... One of their popular dishes as well.. I love Glass Noodle because the noodle is not like the normal rice noodles whereby it absorb the soup and expand... And it is chewy and there is texture in the noodles... Loved it since I was a kid what about you??

The broth have a really strong prawn flavour thanks to the Huge-ass Prawn... 2 prawns which is sliced into half... As for the texture, too soft for my liking... no texture and tasteless... Guess they boil the prawn for too long ended up the prawn loses it taste as well... This dish might look spicy from it outlook, but it is not... Eat it with some cut chillies to add a bit of kick to this dish...

Braised Tofu with Fish Paste
Braised Tofu with Fish Paste @ RM12.00... OMG!!!! OMG!!! I love this dish the most beside the Pork Ribs.. Thick sauce which actually goes well with the Tofu dish... The Tofu is really soft... remember "Tao Fu Fah"?? The soft texture of this tofu can be compare to "Tao Fu Fah"... it also  remind me of the Tofu that come in a tube type... yellow in colour... cylinder in shape.. Super soft..me likey.. Goes well with rice as well....

Generous portion of fish paste as well.. as you can see the bits and pieces are at a decent size as well.. Keeping fit and being healthy.. this is a must-try dish.. I am drooling now thinking of this dish......... Now how le???

This dinner is really a satisfying meal for me.... Even though we didn't really have lot of seafood dishes, but like i said... it is really a satisfying meal for me.... This restaurant is also famous for it Claypot Crab Rice.. But, too bad I am allergic to Crabs.. Therefore, I have to skip that dish and settle down with the Fresh Water Prawn with Glass Noodle... No regret though, it would be better if the Glass Noodle dish is better... Maybe i will give it another try next time and see whether is there any difference.. Always give someone or something a second chance... ^^
