Anyway, since I am in the mood now let me blog about some touristy blogpost as well.... See... How nice am I.... LOL
I realize I never blog about any eatery in Luzern before... How can!!!! Come here and not eat Swiss food... Let get to the point.. I am getting hungry already... ^^

I totally forgot about this place until my sister told me she is visiting me in Swiss and will drop by in Luzern... So as a caring and beloved sister, I decided to give this place a try... Anyway, there are lots of good review about this restaurant...
Restaurant Stadtkeller is a very famous restaurant because of its unique atmosphere, ambiance and you can definitely enjoy the delicious authentic Swiss traditional cuisine....
Don't you dare give me the language barrier reason again, the friendly servers can speak 3 different language mainly, German, French and English FLUENTLY.. They might speak with a strong German accent, but, they are really patience and helpful with the menu selection... So relax!!! You are well taken cared of...

Yup.. you got it right... It is Swiss specialty dish which I guess you heard of it already... "Fondue"... Melted Swiss Cheese simmer in the Swiss Pot ( Not sure what is it called)... eaten with hard bread and side dishes (I make-do the side dishes... LOL)... I love to eat it with Gurken actually.... Cause it give the Fondue some crunch in it instead of the usual bread and potato... Haha ^^
Actually nah.... the side dishes is actually for another dish which I will review soon...but I can't resist it and try it with the Fondue... Hei, sometime you have to go against the norm isn't it???

That was my dinner...."Chicken with Rosti".. But was sharing Fondue with my sister and her travel companion.... Eat too much bread....ended up cant even finish my dinner....
Rosti is a Swiss dish mainly consist of potatoes... It is really crispy though...Crispy on the outside....soft in the middle(not soft as in mash potato soft....soft as in not crispy) ... As you can see from the picture... Slightly burned.....Love it... ^^
The chicken was meh~ish... Can't really remember the exact taste though... But it was meh~ISH....
Even though I was full to the brim... I still leave some space in my tummy for dessert.... How can we end our meal without dessert right??

Instead of the normal Ice cream..... why not have it in a unique design.... Swiss Plus Sign on the ice cream... Vanilla and strawberry flavor.... Super duper yummy... Usually we girls are scare of the extra kg/pound we are adding to our waist and butt.... Who aren't right?? But, I totally screw that though that night, I just enjoy the delicious looking ice-cream with the freshly made cream..... Eating it mouthful after mouthful ignoring the fact that, it will end up on my butt sooner or later...
Actually, I already screw that though since long time ago... I mean, since studying in Swiss which is quite long ago..... I really do have to admit that studying there and eating their fresh dairy products has really given me some problem... Weight gain issue... And it take quite some time (4 months to slim down) for me to lose it.....
Not sure whether is it going to help girls out there, but right after my studies I came back to Malaysia for my internship. And I really have to thank Malaysia for that...Because of the humid and hot weather over here.... I sweat it all out... and I also have to thank le companion too... Because of his addiction toward photography, I ended up going outdoor everyday to accompany him. So, not only I lose those extra pound I gain from Switzerland, I also gotten darker because of it...... Thank you so much, le companion...
Did I mention that this restaurant also has Swiss Folklore performance for you to enjoy while having your meal??? Interested in how Yodeling is done, how to play the Alphorns, Cow bell playing etc.... Than this is the right place for you.... No extra fee for the performance... Wanna thank them for their hard works and effort, than buy yourself a Stadtkeller beer and sit back and relax.... Tipping to the servers are more than welcome though...
As I mentioned earlier, was siting really far away from the stage...therefore, can't really get a clear video....and you can see the packed restaurant full of tourists and locals.... Enjoy!!!!! Oh ya, the women is doing her YODELING!!!!!!!

This post really take a long time to upload... Cause of the rainy weather, the internet is very unstable... Sometime fast sometime slow.... Those video took a very long time to upload... I wanted to cancel the video part, but, laziness kill right... So have to stick to my original plan of uploading it...
Actually I have another few more to show... But the quality is really bad , worse than this 2 videos.. Oh well.... Will upload next time if I ever remember...
