09:36

Always wanted to visit Europe?? France is one of the place you wanna go??

Can't go because you are tied down cause of certain reason??

Don't dare to go because of language barrier??

Nonsense.... There is no such thing.... When there is a will, there is a way...

Even though you can't go to Europe or France, it is not a major problem.... Because Berjaya Group has already built a French Theme Resort at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang to make your dream come true...

It is call "Colmar Tropicale"

Sign near the entrance of Colmar Tropicale...
Entrance to Colmar Tropicale.. ^^
Colmar Tropicale is a French theme hotel and village situated at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. It is surrounded with lust green forestland... Berjaya Group actually got their inspiration from a town called Colmar which is situated in Alsace, France... Not bad, this fellas actually did some homework and transfer the architecture and structure from France and bring it back here to Malaysia.. Did you know that Colmar is also the wine capital for Alsation Wine??? Yup... Alsace is a wine region in France which produces lots of good wine...

Picture taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Colmar_-_Alsace.jpgThis is the original Colmar in France.
Situated not far away from Colmar Tropical, actually you can see it from the tower in Colmar Tropical.. there is a Golf Course.. I would say is private... Who wanna drive all the way there to golf right??? Compare to those golf courses in KL.... those are too far off... So Mr. Papa, you can golf with your golf buddies or alone (LOL.... no hard feeling ok..) while Mrs. Mama, you can enjoy yourself with your kids... Lot of activities for you to have fun with your family member...

Lol...
So does it look like the real one??? Does it??
There are lot of activities for you to choose from actually, I realize nowadays hotel and resort actually try to create more and more indoor and outdoor activites for you to have fun with... This is great actually but to me, there are pro and con.

Pro: Save your energy... No need to google what can you do this and that...
Spend more quality time with your friends and love one
No need to travel so much in that particular area for some activities...
Value for money... since pay for the hotel already...might as well make use of it right?

Con: Indirectly, you are trap in that place... what i mean is that you spend more on food and drinks
compare to if you actually go out and have fun... Hotel and restaurant prices... get it??

Anyway, this is how I feel only... If I go for holiday, once in a while I also prefer to stay in a place and don't travel so much... Just wanna chill

*Disclaimer: This only works if the place has very little tourist destination.. or they don't even have what you are looking for over there... If you go to interesting places, please do explore.... screw d hotel facilities... Go to famous destination first and enjoy the facilities later*

Most of the activities in Colmar Tropicale are outdoor though.. So if you are scared of sun like me, than, bring some sun block la..

Example of activities,
Flying fox
Paintball
Horse trail
Mini animal farm
High rope obstacle course
Canopy walk
Sport complex activities
Rope climbing
Abseiling
Mountain biking
Golf
Rock climbing
Organic farm

Colourful shop lots... And above the shops are hotel rooms...
Restaurants, Souvenir store , Recreational room etc.....
Unique Europian sign....
Pizza place....
Wooden horse.. Do not sit please!!!!!!
Outdoor seating in a fancy restaurant....
Weird looking swimming pool.....
Above the tower.....
Tower of Colmar Tropicale
The small little make believe town
There are a few restaurants in Colmar Tropicale.. Western also got.... Oriental also got... so no worries... Japanese will be at the Japanese Garden there... There is a shuttle service that drop tourist from Colmar to the Japanese Garden.. Once you arrive the garden, you will have to hike for around 8 to 10 minutes to reach the Garden... No worries... It is not the normal jungle trails... Smooth tar road all the way... ^^

Lovely Japanese Village..
The Japanese Village is not too big... But it is one of its kind and it is located at a very serene location... Very Zen feel... Not sure what you wanna do over there?? Relax... you can enjoy the tea ceremony which is held 4 sessions daily ( RM28.00 nett per person).... Wanna camwhore and post it in Facebook or any social media??? Than you can rent a kimono and camwhore around the koi pond or around the village... Not too expensive for a once in a life time experience RM20.00 nett per person...

Lot of greenery and very serene
I wish I can have this at home.... ^^ With lots of koi in it...
Ume Tatami Suite
Ume Tatami suite situated at Japanese Village... It is away from the Colmar Tropicale.. So, if you wanna have extreme privacy... This is a place for you... Quite big as well... In this suite, there is 3 Tatami Rooms, Tatami floors, a kitchen and futton bedding as well... Price wise.... Very pricey for my liking.... you can check the latest rate in their website... This place offer extreme privacy... what i fear is that if anything were to happen to you... There is no one there except your friends or family member to help you.... Hm..... Scary place to me though...

Anyway, that all for now...

Oh ya, i forget to mention... When you enter the place, you will have to pay entrance fee RM12.00 for adult... per person...

Ciao Ciao
